(are you reading Mr Ricci)
If Ricci did buy him they would put him away until next season. That seems to be how they do it. Buy them and then put them away for a year
December 4, 2017 at 21:27 #1330407He wouldn’t be a novice next season though.
December 4, 2017 at 21:30 #1330408He would if he hasn’t won a race in the UK or Ireland, I thought. Maybe I’m wrong
December 4, 2017 at 21:37 #1330411That right is it? News to me is that Either way there’s potentially Annamix for next season. More immediately I’ll throw a speculative couple of quid in the hope he joins someone this end and is aimed here.
December 5, 2017 at 11:55 #1330475Not sure he’d be a novice next year? I mean, if one of the top FR horses comes over here (non-novice) surely they can’t just revert them back to novice company now they are in the UK

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!December 5, 2017 at 11:59 #1330477Annamix will still be a novice next season and what vautour said is correct
December 5, 2017 at 12:04 #1330482This was regarding:
Damalisque
Annamix hasn’t won a hurdle race, so will be a novice….
Damalisque has, so i presume wouldn’t be a novice for next season?

December 5, 2017 at 12:31 #1330489Having a nightmare with this phone, sorry jack what i meant to say is i believe its to do with the conditions of the race, i think because hes won a listed race he isnt eligible next season, i may be wrong on that, they can win a hurdles race abroad then come here the following season and run in novice company, limini etc being examples of that, its to do with the conditions of the race i always thought
Haha no worries
Limini as far as i can see didn’t run over hurdles before going to Ireland. I am not sure of the exact rules, all i know is Mullins has a good method of buying the 2nds and 3rds in races giving them a year off and turning them into graded horses

Sorry was going off memory there, dont know why i thought limini, i always thought it was what vautour said was to be correct, but i did partially think that the conditions of the race mattered in that, but maybe it is just as simple as that, theyll be a few experts to clear this up on here id imagine
December 5, 2017 at 13:43 #1330500Damalisque was bought by JP and is being trained in the UK, be interesting to know which trainer has him
