An early look. Let me know how you feel about the horses, mainly Grimes Faith.
1330Ke – Le Royal – lost
1350Li – Grimes Faith – lost
1450Li – Areyoutalkingtome – won
The final win kept me above even. Been a steady couple of days.

December 2, 2006 at 23:35 #68785Saturday i laid out 63pts…..& i only managed to win back 41.88pts…..But having said none of my BIG stakes won & if i take into account all the seconds , to lose 22pts on the day doesn’t hurt too much…..

December 3, 2006 at 01:15 #687892.10 Warwick 2m H/C Chase 0-125
Conditions appear right for Serpentine Rock to make a winning start to his campaign after possibly overstretching himself a little last year. Danger Misty Dancer may find his weight a burder if its genuinely on the soft side. Oldboy Executive Decision now limbered up has definite place possibilities.
1st 5 Misty Dancer 9/2
2nd 8 Jupon Vert (FR) 10/1
3rd 6 Syroco (FR) 4/1
The Misty Dancer match helped me into profit on the race but the weakness of Serpentine at the off suggest some clearly knew he couldn’t win.
Can Mr Swallow do anything wrong at the moment ;)

December 3, 2006 at 11:00 #68791The 12:20 at Lingfield looks a weak race and Storm of Arabia‘s turf form is good enough for him to have a decent chance. Taking the risk that he will be fit enough on first run since July but I think that it’s worth it at present odds in such a poor contest and I’ve backed him each way at 9/2

December 3, 2006 at 12:09 #68793This is my third post as a member but an experienced punter. Believing past performance to be a sound basis for selection the first thing I do each day is to look at overall form, very recent form and the possible market.
Whilst the runners identified are almost inevitably at the short end of the market under the right conditions there is a high strike-rate. These are the form possibles today:
Kelso
12.30 Uneven Line, Kempski
1.00 According To John
1.30 Tin Healy’s Pass
2.00 Ever Present
2.30 ?
3.00 To Tiger, Bywell Beau
3.30 Raining Horse
Warwick
12.40 ?
1.10 ?
1.40 ?
2.10 Four Schools
2.40 Killard Point
3.10 Curly Spencer, Mr Dow Jones
3.40 Johnny Bissett
December 3, 2006 at 13:21 #68794The Bajan Bandit has a very good record on soft/heavy and has to be supported at 20’s at Kelso.
December 3, 2006 at 17:19 #68795I make a slight fraction on the day…..6pts @ 9/2 won & 4pts @ 7/4 won…..
I put down the heavy going to the reason its pretty hard to pick them
