Hi – New here and see this thread so i hope no one minds if i put up a system i am trying out combining strike rates of jockeys and trainers . Will keep a running total to show profit / loss .

I’ve just joined the forum today and was viewing your idea but mainly SYSTEM B as I did a some research on part of this an that was trainers/course stats and no doubt at some course some trainers do have high s/rates but what I found in some cases was rather misleading as thats the OVERALL STATS FOR THE COURSE but in some instances were the course as MANY MEETINGS through the SEASON you may find many of those winners may come from just 1 part of the season compared with the rest which are very bad.
In many ways thats the prob with overall stats what ever they maybe as many are shown from a GENERAL POINT OF VIEW and in some case maynor be relervent to that time of year although the s/rates shown may suggest otherwise.
I wish you every success and will be interesting to see the outcome.
