Even if you don’t watch or listen to this game today catch it later on YouTube and you’ll see what the fuss is all about.

The next time you see a highly paid soccer player go down injured you’ll laugh that little bit louder and longer.

New South Wales are 2-0 down.
Queensland have always been top dogs in this series since it’s inception in the early 80’s.
I always hoped they would stage a match in the uk.
But it is a show piece event in Australia and with no organised international programme it is the pinnacle of rugby league.
Traditionally whitewashes are a rare event and New South Wales normally come good in the final game. They have a very good last match record.
But the 32-6 drubbing in the last game is ominous and Billy Slater has made a smooth transition from player to coach.
Brad filter has made a host of changes but Freddie’s job is on the line if there is no improvement and the body language of the two coaches after game two could not have contrasted more. That is ominous for today.
The handicap line is perfect and Queensland can get on top of a – 4 deficit.
Normally I’d expect New South Wales to get back into this game and salvage some pride win this “dead rubber. But reports from Australia suggests celebrations at winning the series have been toned down big time. There is a real desire coming out of the Queensland camp which suggests a third win would be the real achievement of the series, and that they are striving for “something special” today.
Expect much better from New South Wales but Queensland look just too good.
Valentine Holmes should get over the whitewash at some stage of the game and around 2/1 to score a try at anytime looks fair. He tried out in the NFL for two years and although he didn’t cut the mustard he got as far as any other footballer has done and has returned a better player.
My idea of MVP is DALE CHERRY EVANS.

    Queensland to win
    Minus 4 points @ 10/11
To score a try at any time
    Valentine Holmes
    @ 2/1
    Man of the match
    Dale Cherry Evans
    @ 7/1

Every instinct tugged at me to say New South Wales yet I went with the form.
    Good game though.
