    First the judge calling a race at Haydock on Saturday and now Niall Hannitty doing a race at Thirsk tonight.

    Yes an unusual double! As I understand the torrential rain flooded the commentary box at Haydock on Saturday meaning the judge had to call one of the races. Tonight at Thirsk the commentator Tony Ennis got caught in traffic jams in the North Yorkshire area so Racing UK’s Niall Hannity had to call the first race.

    Niall did a pretty good job…..very professional

    Blimey, that must be really hard at short notice………..it was an 11 runner maiden race I think
