November 12, 2011 at 00:41 #377413Some stand out ones for me:
Pivotal down 10k is good value at 45k.
Dubawi at 75k is daylight robbery. I’d have Dansili 100 times out of 100 at the same price.
A 15k drop in price for Danehill Dancer,a stallion I’m a big fan of.
Not surprised to see Teofilo go up in price, has the promisings of a very nice sire.
Going to Canford Cliffs at 17,5k is simply laughable, probably the worst bloodline of anyone up there. I’d much rather Rip at the same price.
Not surprised to see Dylan Thomas drop in price either. I didn’t like his two year olds this year from some nice mares
November 12, 2011 at 08:41 #377450Very interesting reading. Do you know what Compton Place’s fee is for next year?
November 12, 2011 at 11:41 #377490WHITSBURY MANOR STUD
Sakhee’s Secret £5,500
Compton Place £6,000
Showcasing £4,500
Avonbridge £3,000
November 12, 2011 at 20:06 #377564Has STS gone down in price?
I always wondered what the commercial value in ALfred Nobel was, and Zoffany has a similarly average profile for quite a few thousand.
Maybe I am missing something here?Sad to see Danehill Dancer down. Dancing Rain was a nice filly for him this year.
November 13, 2011 at 09:43 #377616Thanks, BSB. Compton Place’s price is really holding up well. We’re hoping to send our mare to him in the Spring.
November 13, 2011 at 11:36 #377630I am really quite suprise that Yeats is stading as a flat stallion in 2012. How long will it be before he will stand at Coolmore NH. Bearing in mind that Yeats is a jumps stallion in all but name just look at the number of NH mares he has covered already.
November 13, 2011 at 11:56 #377634Dubawi
Darley are taking the piss with that one. Much rather Exceed And Excel at those fees.

His fee is remaining at 85 thousand euro.
Alfred Nobel is good value for me. I think he’ll get some precocious two year olds, probably the same with Zoffany.
Alfred Nobel has some lovely bloodline on his dams side. His great grand dam is the dam of New Approach.November 13, 2011 at 14:23 #377660I am really quite suprise that Yeats is stading as a flat stallion in 2012. He had been listed under Coolmore National Hunt last year.
November 13, 2011 at 14:50 #377664Why are Galileo’s and Montjeu’s fees private?

If you have to ask the price, you can’t afford it
I think that the price probably depends on the quality of the mare being put to them. They will offer a better deal for a really top class mare.
May 18, 2012 at 21:43 #404643Galileo’s is private though it’s 300k
