Anybody know why there are no replays of Punchestown yet?
April 30, 2019 at 19:06 #1429910They have appeared at last.
April 30, 2019 at 20:19 #1429922About time!
May 1, 2019 at 14:09 #1430196I wonder how long we will have to wait today for the replays.
May 10, 2019 at 12:47 #1434224We can’t access from Spain here anymore. Sad times.
May 18, 2019 at 13:49 #1439362It’s a brilliant service
I’m beginning to wonder if there’s much point subscribing to RTV when you could just make a note of which races interest you and watch them one after the other in the evening at your leisure together with any races from SSR
(having avoided the results obviously !)
Of course there is the problem that the replay is underneath the race result so you have to work out a way of getting to it without seeing the result …….. personally my eyesight is so bad that I can just pull my specs down to the bottom of my nose and look over them …… then it’s just a blur anyway and I can scroll down to the replay screen
May 18, 2019 at 19:21 #1439645Yes; I’ve just noticed that is you subscribe to the ITV 7 [which I assume is free to join] you can watch the replays.
May 18, 2019 at 20:40 #1439651You can view the replays without seeing the result. Just go to racecards and select your race, you then get the racecard with the video replay at the bottom, no result is shown.
The only problem is, if it is a big race you want to watch, is avoiding the headlines when you first go into The Sportinglife website.
May 18, 2019 at 22:51 #1439670Cheers chestnut ………. I’ll give that a try next time
I never see the headlines because I have the racecards page bookmarked and go straight to that !

The way to avoid seeing the headline reports is to open the Results page at the start of the afternoon or session. It updates automatically so that replays appear without you having to view any other pages

May 26, 2019 at 23:23 #1441825Thanks Rob
Sometimes I forget to open to the racecard page before I go out, like today, when I went to watch the 1000 Guineas I had to shield the bottome half of the screen before I was on the racecard page.
June 3, 2020 at 15:24 #1489495Is it still possible to view the replay of a race on the day?
June 3, 2020 at 15:28 #1489496Yes,
log in
go to your race via racecards
click on results
its at the bottom of the results, if you don’t want to know the results, put your left hand over your left eye and drag the cursor down from the right hand sideGaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
June 3, 2020 at 15:56 #1489507You used to be able to get the video from the racecard, without the need to close one eye.
2:45 video not there yet, again the replays used to be available 1/2 after the race.
