    Anyone know what won the Spanish Derby this year or have link to details on the race?
    Not 100% sure but I believe it was run on Sunday 2nd June.

    Internet searches have proved futile and not seen any reports.

    The favourite Pedro Cara first past the post but the result was reversed & Axioco awarded the race

    I’m not so sure that the eventual winner deserved to be disqualified. The look from above clearly shows that the disqualified horse was the faster one throughout the final 150 yards and the runner-up might have had a chance to finish upsides at best.

    Would have kept the race in the UK I think and also in IRE. But who cares about the Spaniards, they even suck at Football.

    Good at tennis though! You’re welcome Running Rein. Axioco is owned by the Duque de Alburquerque – how about that for a racing name from the past!
