“Dresden (Henry Oliver), Some Plan (Henry De Bromhead) and North Hill Harvey (Dan Skelton) died following falls in the Grand Annual Chase, which was the final race of the meeting.”
RIP Some Plan
March 16, 2018 at 22:23 #1347198Poor chap. I actually backed him for today’s race thinking of his Irish Arkle win when he was the only one to jump cleanly and stay up with jockey on board in the muck. Like NHH, he made it as far as the last today. Just one more fence and he would have been safe
March 16, 2018 at 22:32 #1347203Sh*t…. Three fallers in the race, all three of them dead.
That ruined just about everything over the last 4 days.
Rest in Peace Some Plan
March 16, 2018 at 23:46 #1347228It’s been a dreadful week in respect of the number of fatalities, I’m so sad I can’t write anymore at the moment.
RIP Some Plan …
and all the beautiful horses lost this week.Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...March 16, 2018 at 23:58 #1347231It’s been a terrible day; how awful to think your horse has survived a fall only to realise later that it was badly injured.
March 17, 2018 at 00:28 #1347239Just awful. Only saving grace of that race was that I thought Some Plan had survived what seemed to be a fatal fall. Unacceptable toll for one race. R.I.P.
