Very sadly, the 9 year old gelding had to be put to sleep after breaking a fetlock midrace at Galway on Sunday. The circumstances are more than a bit upsetting as his rider did not realise the extent of the injury. Rest in peace brave soul.

Why is it so often the star performer in a small yard that this happens too. So sad.
