    We have heard it said many times that Camelot was the best of a bad bunch of three year old colts this year. Was he the best of them at a mile based on his Guineas win? I am struggling to see another colt with the form and/or consistency to be rated the superior animal at the trip. Was this year really as bad as I think? Do others remember similar seasons in reasonably recent times?
