There does not seem much pace in the Snowdrop.
Choisya is imo the one most likely (of the shorter priced horses) to have the possible advantage of racing prominently.Have backed her each way with also a place only bet.

The more I know the less I understand.
April 6, 2024 at 13:32 #1689190Mystic Pearl 8/1 – EW
She has run 2 credit worthy races in Group 2 contests in Dubai this year and this should be easier. Can’t see her out of a place here.
William Haggas yard in good form so far this season and would love to see Cieron Fallon back in the winners enclosure on her today.

Value Is EverythingApril 6, 2024 at 16:11 #1689227Mystic Pearl disappointing today complete no show.
Well done with your place bet Ginge.
I was very impressed with Rose Prick who ran 3rd at 50/1. I remember seeing her at Newmarket a couple of years back and thinking she had a mountain of growing to do such a tiny little filly. Today she has filled her frame and ran a terrific race staying on after losing the lead.
Definitely one for the notebook
she will be winning a big race soon.
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...April 6, 2024 at 21:18 #1689254Thanks Jac, but someone who didn’t have a bet in the race would’ve made almost as much as me on it.
Do think if changing the jockeys around would’ve been a different result though.Choisya the only one of the first 6 home that was “towards rear” in a race where it was pretty obvious the pace was going to be slow… And Choisya had run well when ridden prominently before.
Value Is EverythingApril 6, 2024 at 22:09 #1689257Just watched the race again as I was out watching it on my mobile this afternoon and yes Choisya was given it all to do throughout the whole race. Having taken the widest route home at one point she had her head in front of the winner but just failed at the line.
It was a classy performance Ginge and she earnt her black type today.
