I told you it would be fun even if France winning was somewhat inevitable in the end. I got something right

Well done on the treble too.
March 15, 2025 at 22:13 #1724183Thanks Richard, I’ll let you select the Lions! Don’t be too greedy!
March 22, 2025 at 12:30 #1724610Ladies version starting shortly (it’s a quiet weekend)
Should be an intelligent call required in the 3rd and 4th rounds of compo
Going for Unders in the Points tally in both matches today as an interest bet
(5/2 Double Chance)Wales/Scotland <45 both have big games next week while Ireland may need to keep it tight v France <47 to justify confidence of an apparent turnabout in their previous lowly status
Plenty of water breaks please!
Defence!March 29, 2025 at 12:49 #1725085The late PP betting show availability and locked market wouldn’t inspire one to have any more than an interest bet in the France V Scotland Ladies match shortly. I think the 25-29 H/c is just a little bit insulting to Scotland. Their backs can certainly move the ball but they won’t be able to scythe their way through the French defence like they did against Wales. They should manage at least 15pts.
I’m taking Ireland to manage to beat the 3pt H/c against Italy tomorrow. Sadly the England Wales match is likely to be something of a charade like the England Italy match last week.
Today’s TV Double Chances!
France v Italy Over 51 pts
Connacht v Munster Over 45pts11/4 Double Chance
And for the early bath!
France Win – 13 H/C V Scotland @ H-T (Best Value IMO)
Connacht v Munster Under 23 pts @ H-T
11/4 Double Chance
March 30, 2025 at 14:21 #1725178Electing to travel in fear with an Unders Evens interest rather than in hope with an Overs. < 46
Should be very tight and Irish resolve may just edge it. Possible Italy were holding back a little last week. Indulgent Irish kicker not always the most reliable so will need several tries. Summer temperature May slow game down and I sense teams have one eye to the World Cup in the sense of avoiding any serious injuries. Defence!
April 12, 2025 at 14:16 #1727060Three dead rubbers alas this weekend!
If Ireland are to score a try it will probably be best in first half. So they may just plug the 17pt 1st half Handicap dyke. English may show some first half mercy!
Ireland + 17 1st Half Handicap Win v England
Tricky Trees to score 2 goals v Toffees
Everton concentration may be depleted after recent high profile ties
3/1 + Double Chance
April 19, 2025 at 12:46 #1727647Taking France -14.5 win Halftime Win v Italy 5/6
Add Citeh Win/Draw Double Result at Everton 1/5
6/5 Double
Add Kilkenny Win v Galway All Ireland Hurling 4/9
9/4 Treble
That’s this afternoon’s TV sport sorted!
Hoping the French will want to pack a punch in the 1st half whatever about second!
April 19, 2025 at 14:53 #1727677Bet down

Surely Everton are capable of six corners at least 2/1 + That might cheer me up!
April 20, 2025 at 11:56 #1727718Does Paddy know something we don’t! Are Ireland going to ease down and blood new players ahead of World Cup? I know form is unpredictable as seen in Italian games of late but the 10-11 handicap looks a modest enough handicap to overcome v Wales. I wouldn’t have been surprised to see 20! I would have thought Ireland had a point to prove after the humiliations in recent times.
Ireland -12 H/c Win in Wales
Chelsea Win at Fulham
3/1+ Double Chance!
Chelsea have several big games coming up and last game v Forest may be about the easiest so they could do with the 3 points today. Only big target left for Cottagers is to stay above Palace and the Bees!
April 26, 2025 at 13:34 #1728357Ireland Women should manage to overcome the 9pt H/c v Scotland even if it will be something of a World Cup prep game @ 10/11
Villa to score 2 goals at Palace
9/4 + Double Chance!
April 27, 2025 at 11:12 #1728497Last fling of the dice after yesterday’s wash-out!
Italy at their best this season should take care of the 13pt H/c v Wales – unless they turn in a performance like that v Ireland!
Italy – 15 H/c Win v Wales
Citeh -1 H/c Win v Forest in Cup
5/1. Double Chance!
Looks like Villa hadn’t recovered from their Citeh experience yesterday. Wembley should suit Citeh’s long passing game. Resisted the strong urge for Pool to score 3 v Spurs for a greedy treble!
