Reported on another site as a fatal pelvic injury. Walked in to see the start of this race and within seconds SGW was being pulled up. Second fatalitity of the day and on the flat. So so sad. RIP :( :(

I really hate to see fatalities on a racecourse. However I must admit that some accidents, like the two at Royal Ascot today, can occur on any racecourse, even if it`s such a big meeting. No one is to blame I guess, but let`s hope the groundkeepers will do a proper job this week and the meeting will go ahead without further casualties.
    RIP to both of them.

Backed him when he won at Goodwood purely because of the presence he had in the paddock. All postings on here are sad but the loss of this fellow is especially upsetting. RIP Sir Graham
