Thanksforthehelp is a horse I’ve always rated, and he’s the most obvious for me, albeit with a big hike for his Punchestown romp. Stablemate American Sniper is harder to recommend, not least off the back of his two disappointing attempts in this, but I’m keeping going back to him

It’s great to see Knappers Hill back out this year. Was really interesting horse for me going into last season, but he obviously had a setback, and didn’t appear. Not sure I’ll bet him, but I’ll know nearer the off

    Edit
Was going to sit this out, but with the other pair not going, I’ll have an interest with Thanksforthehelp. I think 22’s tells its own story, but I’ll chip away if he goes bigger

Isn’t it just nice to finally have some actual horse racing back :yahoo:

I always like backing horses who are coming into races on a sequence as you’re pretty sure to at least know the horse is happy and healthy. So for that reason I’ll take a wild stab at King of the lake who’s on a treble and done them all very easily. Step up in grade but worthwhile seeing if he’s up to it at 16’s

    Lavender Hill Mob 12-1 e/w.

Always been highly rated and had a nice pipe-opener at Newmarket the other day. Stable are in good nick, too.

Take no chances at 33/1 looks good e/w. Super consistent in very good company with some decent horses behind her in the Mares hurdle.

Taking a punt that the claimer is competent, if he is that’s a handy 7lbs.

Probably look for something to double up with in the Native River. Light N Strike and Il de Jersey shortlist.
