All comers, all ground, all beaten
July 29, 2018 at 10:38 #1361418I don’t think there’s anyone who loves racing that is not familiar with this sad story and it remains one of the great unsolved mysteries of the racing world.
How anyone could have harmed such a beautiful animal is beyond me and I hope they rot in hell for what they did.
Thanks for the heads up Chaos, I usually love any documentaries to do with horseracing but in this instance will chose not to watch it as I have seen a similar documentary and found it very upsetting and depressing.
The theory that Shergar was fatally injured in the process of his kidnapping makes sense to me, the poor horse must have suffered so much, lets just remember what he did and his great jockey Walter Swinburn, nothing will bring either back and I doubt they will ever find out what truly happened.
