Recently saw a quote from Stan James of 10/1 for Punchestown to win 2011 Gold Cup. If that isnt the biggest joke of a price il leave it so.I know he has big potential and might well win the gold cup next year but come on.Its not exactly if hes odds on for this year novice sun alliance and considering we are in a golden era of jumpers with kauto and denman i tink its ridiculous. Who honestly would back him at 10/1?maybe im wrong
Rubbish price from a small time firm. You say 10/1, i say they’re offering you evens, because he’d have to win the RSA first, so it’s 9/2 RSA not so long ago, and evens the gold cup to make up the 10/1. If he doesn’t win the RSA, he won’t be as low as that. Mug price. They should have opened their full book for the 2011 GC.
