For those of us that vainly hoped this horse would finally come good in 2011…
…the old rogue just went and won a Group 1 in Australia!!
His form going into the race was pretty poor so I’m not sure where it came from or whether he’ll repeat it.

October 6, 2013 at 20:15 #453949I always said he was a Group 1 horse Darren eh??
Truth be known that race he won yesterday was as near a Group 1 as Southwell racecourse is to hosting one.The horse he beat was an ex-pat too and he was rated 20lb inferior toSeville
.Now if he were to turn up for that great ‘Handicap’ ran in Melbourne next month I’d probably lose on the bloody rogue again!

won a listed race then got it taken away from him unfairly imo
October 7, 2013 at 16:55 #454030Gord am sure last year SEVILLE was 2nd behind GREEN MOON who then went on to win in Melbourne. maybe if SEVILLE goes for race he could do it.

Was only 1/2l behind as well. Three races prior to this, results look worse than the run. Think there was talk from the trainer after regarding the Melbourne Cup

Yep the one and only dalling, its the only race we recognise as anything serious and its still a handicap, great spectacle but nothing more than that.Australian Horseracing is regarded on a par with its Chardonnay seriously average.Just watch the mighty
Mount Athos
this year,he’s the ideal sort for the Melbourne Cup and you know what I think of him!

You seriously are an idiot. As for Mount Athos he may be a place chance, but even this far out I will declare Fiorente!
