Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...April 14, 2024 at 10:20 #1690448Well done Nathan and Over2u.
Many thanks Jac for organising this competition. Hard work is appreciated.
I couldn’t find a winner for the last week or two but well chuffed to finish in the frame.
April 14, 2024 at 10:36 #1690453WELL DONE NATH Hellofaday winning twp cpmps in one day. Tracey says she hopes you did the lottery last night.LOL
And Robnorth and ove2u for getting on the podium
And thanks Jac for running this competition for twenty six weeks
April 14, 2024 at 10:57 #1690458I should have done the lottery but haven’t played it for years since they switched the format
Wow, I’ve never won this competition before or even made the podium so I’m delighted to win it
I don’t think it was a vintage year as normally you need well in excess of 100 points but I don’t care as I’m just chuffed. Didn’t think I had much of a chance but like Jac said I hit a purple patch the last few weeksThanks Jac for continuing the running of this comp and all that have helped in keeping it going throughout the years…

April 14, 2024 at 11:10 #1690464Well done, Nathan and thanks for the trouble you went through in organising this competition Jac. Thought my Grand National selection had a real chance but faded in the end.

But you can give them to the birds and bees.April 14, 2024 at 11:27 #1690469Well done Nathan double win with Aintree. I led for about three months and probably three months since I had a winner. Still regretting talking myself out of Mothill a month or so ago
Thanks to Jac it is great fun to take part. The things I want most in life are the things that I can't win.
April 14, 2024 at 13:08 #1690476Thank you Rob, Raymo, Rummy and RTB ..it’s always a pleasure getting everyone together each Saturday although this time I have had on going family health issues to deal with and I’m so grateful to Hot Fuss for deciding to take over once more until Champions Day in October and also looking forward to the official start of the flat and getting myself back to Newmarket next week.
Nathan…That is so kind of you to donate your £20 Prize to Hillside Animal Sanctuary which I have just done. I chose to donate towards the care of a stallion they have in their care called Chester for you, who fell on hard times and was taken in by the Sanctuary with two Mares a few years back, it will go towards their feed and veterinary care.
They do such good work there and Chester is one of so many they have rescued over time including many ex racehorses.I’ve forgotten the name of the site to upload pictures Nathan, was it tinypics? Could you advise as I would really like to put up a receipt for you and it will be handy for Newmarket pics etc.
Look forward to being a player again next Saturday when we all go back to Zero..see you there.. Jac

I did manage this receipt upload, but you might know a better one Nathan..

April 14, 2024 at 15:26 #1690494Oh yes..thanks Nathan I remember it now… I know you trust me and my little link above shows it went through ok.
I hope Chester the rescue horse is your lucky mascot 🐎🧲for your winning freebet at Chester races soon. What a great week you’ve had. Jac
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...April 14, 2024 at 16:54 #1690509Oops, nearly missed this one. How could I miss the man himself, Nathan Hughes.
TRF legend adds another feather in his cap. Romps home in the Pick 3,
despite my nap had it not been 2nd would have blown his pants off (ehmm just
pretend I didn’t say that last bit).Brilliant Nathan and HUGE admeration for Jac who kept the whole thing
together throughout the Jumps season (despite having to spend half the
time hiding behind the couch). Anyway, with Hot Fuss marking up for the
flat season you can come out from behind the couch Jac, and just make sure
you feed us all with that Parade Ring info that you gather at HQApril 14, 2024 at 18:36 #1690529Well done Nathan, finishing like this year’s National winner thanks for all your hard work Trip, good luck for the Flat
April 15, 2024 at 09:39 #1690601Well played Nathan, and thanks very much for running the competition, Jac.
I’m visiting Newmarket for the first time (spot the jumps fan!) for the Craven on Thursday, so may see you there.
April 15, 2024 at 10:27 #1690604Congrats nathan and all the podium finishers and thanks to the organisers who spend their time running this and giving us all some added interest to the season.
April 15, 2024 at 11:49 #1690607Great feedback from all and thank you that is so encouraging .
Can Nathan pull off the Double and win back to back competitions?…if he does I will double his prize to £40.00 so come on Nathan keep adding to your stash of Medals.😀See you all on Saturday, this time as a player and again many thanks to Hot Fuss who will be taking over until October.
Broadsword, you will love it at Newmarket and you’ll probably see me at the Pre-parade and hanging around the paddock area. But the main thing…Hope you have lots of winners and empty the bookies satchels 🏆. Jac
