I like One More Fleurie here. Dropped in the weights after not really running a race in the Ladbrokes and the Ultima Chase. His best form came here exactly a year ago in the novices handicap chase. Hopefully Ayr will bring the best out of him again.

Also had to add Win My Wings. An impressive winner of the Eider Chase and with Rick James on board he is basically on the same weight.

    One More Fleurie 18/1 EW
    Win My Wings 13/2

Had a quick look at this and in a race that often results in a big priced winner I like Jersey Bean at 25/1. An improving horse he needs this good ground. Three runs and two wins in the last year, winning ‘gamely’ both times and staying very well. This 4 miler could be right up his street.

I’ve backed Jersey Bean, Ask A Honey Bee and The Wolf (despite the jumping reservations) on the exchanges, the first two at pretty wild prices so more hope than expectation but I do think they’ll outrun their odds

I’ll add a couple more to go with Kitty’s Light. One More Fleurie and Prime Venture 7 places should provide a bit of each way fun.

Lol there me coming on thinking id be alone in backing one more fleure , Ayr form works well in this race and as others have said he won the novice race last year , I love old hill sixteen but he,s off top weight here without winning a race , I’ve also played the ferry master , I’m niggled he didn’t quite stay last year but he,s got a lovely weight and Mania on his back , I’ve also played The Wolf as he looks better every time he goes up in trip , he can make a mistake but as long as he doesn’t get too far behind he has a decent chance

I’ve had a bit on Fidux at 103/1. King / Jacob is a classy enough team, and I think that is plenty big enough for a horse which could feasibly improve for mammoth trips, and is the right age.

“I wonder what price she is for Aintree next year?”

Trainer quoted as having reservations about suitability for Aintree.

Must start doing these mammoth prices e/w. Thats two in a row I’ve been too greedy with Exchange prices with.
