    A wonderful finnish. "Come on boi, come on boi".
    It got a bit animated in Sam Towers.
    A result for trends followers. The only negative trend was Merigos age, which was firmly put to bed. Auroras Encore was unlucky to come up against this immovable object. Tremendous result for Timmy Murphy and the stable. Merigo got every inch of the trip. An absolute joy to watch and the reason why I love jumps racing.

    A great run yet again from Merigo, in less than two weeks we have had a chance to see two course/race specialists in Merigo and Always Waining . Its time to savour everything that is great about NH and two great stalwarts and put to bed two VERY UNFORTUNATE accidents in the National.

    What a cracker Merigo is, a real old fashioned lovely looking proper NH type.
