Classic Getaway ran the last day on yielding so he’s a “maybe” but he’s fragile too so any bets for March would come with a warning. Nevermind the fact he needs to step up still. Is he really one for 3m2 around Cheltenham? Not sure, but he’s a fair enough price for it.

He’ll shorten if he wins this well, even though it’s miles away from Grade 1 GC form.

Out to 16s before the off (i never taken any of it) just stuck with my place bets which made up for LTO

What ruby said, dead race in terms of form, the 3rd was flying though, he’d be interesting in a few races i can think of

    Thanks guys.

6.2’s on a 10-1 winner though, but just chuffed to see him back, smashing horse

G, I expect we’ll see him in Cheltenham entries tomorrow, though he’ll be a proper NRNB job

3-1 about a 1/2 shot alright, rule 4 was to come, but beating markets about short ones and getting beat always feels a lot worse…..why i hate backing shorter!
Wd Winners Classic Getaway was cream crackered!

When did this race become a GC trial at all? Before Al Boum Photo won it four times it was always won by horses rated between 145-155. That’s way short of GC standard and it was the same yesterday.

Can’t remember that Roi Du Mee, Bachasson, Apt Approach or Champagne West were prominent in any GC.
