I only remember him not being declared for the CC with people expecting him to run two days later in the Ryanair. But, he wasn’t declared for that one either with no reasons given. Who knows, maybe a bruised foot or something rather minor that prevented him from going to Cheltenham.

He was also entered in the Ryanair, the fact is he didn’t go , he may go this season however where is the big question , personally most sense is the Ryanair however FTF will be a tough nut to break there , I stand by I think he’s been prepped for the autumn , if Mullins does chase the championship then they may go Aintree/Sandown again , we’ll see

“Glad your walking the line , don’t overstep it , if you want to disagree fine”

All I have done is disagree with you.

My argument is based upon logic, whereas yours is anything but.

No Glad you’ve been rude , re-read what you’ve put , to be honest I’ll leave the tread here , nothing to be gained discussing your so called logic

You’re accusing me of overstepping the line (albeit incoherently).

I disagree with you on the ability of Gaelic Warrior.

Why are you trying to turn a disagreement into an argument? 🤔

No Glad you said I had issues , as I said you may want re-read what you put , I’ve also said I’m leaving it now , that’s not causing an argument

I read a qoute today, which applies to both sides of any ‘disagreement’: ‘Before getting into an argument, remember that a bee has never tried to convince a fly that honey tastes better than sh!t’

    Vacuous drivel.
    🤷‍♂️

Bees do not have the intellectual capacity to construct any form of logical hypothesis.

    Just like most people.

Do we at least agree that the Savills was a well below par renewal and the King George a far better GC trial? I wouldn’t back any of the runners that ran in the former, whereas the latter offers at least three realistic candidates.

Interesting perspective Ruby. I have the opposite view. KG felt like closer to Ryanair trial – lot of speed there, and wouldn’t be mad on chances of any of the first three in the Gold Cup (Banbridge won’t go, of course).

Jango Baie might be the best of the four as looks like a proper stayer rather than a speed horse.

A fast ground KG might feel that way, but for whatever reason it’s not a source of Ryanair winners. Envoi Allen (winner 2023) was a KG also ran in 2022 (btn 51 lengths) and Dynaste (winner 2014) in 2013 when btn 47 lengths. Cue Card was beaten 20 lengths back in 2012 before winning the 2013 Ryanair.

I still like to think that we saw quite a few GC candidates in this year’s renewal.
