January 7, 2012 at 23:29 #385993Good stuff my friend
January 8, 2012 at 00:44 #385998Thanks Doug, yeah, can’t complain with that today.
Was chuffed to bits with Consigliere, he was very impressive, and looked the winner the whole way round. Hoping he can do the same for me at Cheltenham now.
Neptune Collonges was the opposite, he ran a a bizarre race, in contention one minute, struggling the next. Not the first time he’s ran like that though, and even when he was out the back I still had a feeling he’d claw them back. He’s a cracking horse, always had a soft spot for him.
Dave’s Dream was difficult to watch. Unlike Neptune, when he was out the back, you could tell he was hating it, and I knew after a couple of fences he had no chance. He just doesn’t seem right, and I hope they can get to the bottom of it, he was a very promising horse last year.

January 8, 2012 at 10:45 #386022Well done VTC.
Have to say I fear for Consigliere, long time since the handicapper has relented on him and can see him getting a whopping up the ratings for that now. That said, conditions are crucial to him so certainly down in the ‘bog’ list!
January 8, 2012 at 12:26 #386041Good work VTC,
Consigliere
ran away with that, the stable were obviously on as he will get at least 10lb for his efforts.Great to see others having a go at this tipping lark, its bloody hard work!

Neptunes collonges
ran his heart out too but beaten by a handicap good thing looking at it now!
January 8, 2012 at 12:45 #386046Cheers tb/KF,
can’t disagree with either of you. Consigliere was
too
impressive……really pleased to put up such an easy winner, but the sting in the tail is, I may have done my dough for my Cheltenham bet. Was good to see him repay the faith though.
January 14, 2012 at 13:16 #386855American Trilogy is an batshit insane price today. I’ve taken 33’s, but I’ll be having more on later.

Got 5 places for American Trilogy on my trixie (365), so got my ew return on that, but, for the 2nd time on this thread, missed out on the ew single (PP) when 5 places available. Both 25’s shots too.
I’ll have to pay attention to make sure it don’t happen again.Nice to see Hey Big Spender run well, but not a bean back for him, picked the wrong one. No doubt, not the last time this will happen.

January 21, 2012 at 10:31 #387621Wasn’t going to have a bet in the Victor Chandler Chase, but thought I’d take adavantage of their £25 free bet offer. I’ll use that free bet for this thread in future weeks.
