Have heard that Pearce Rock (2.40 Sandown) is a horse with a lot of potential and the yard reckon he will have a big say in the Novice Hurdle in March, so for that to be true he must be in with a huge shout 2day. Backed him @ 7/2 and have him at 33/1 for the Supreme Novice.

Vicario loves Haydock ( 3 wins from 4 runs ) and also acts on heavy going. Backed him e/way at 9/2 in the 2:20.

Aitch Doubleyou runs in the 2:50 Haydock & has something to find on the book but stays the distance and acts an heavy going and is worth an e/way bet imo. Bet on him e/w at 5/1.

Bank on Benny has a good chance in the 4:50 Kempton but the present price of 11/4 does not look value and I prefer to bet on Magic Warrior who loves the Kempton polytrack and has good recent form. Backed e/way at 13/2.

Its a rather grey day today here on the south coast. <br>Hopefully it will not distrupt todays racing. <br>I originally though that Stoneacre Boy would get my vote but I now think Fizzlephut will be my selection

<br>the breathing op may see more improvement from the P Nichols trained Turthen and is respected, but if Preacher Boy is in the same form as in either of it’s last two starts i can see him taking this pretty easily,  McCoy on is another plus and 3 miles around here should also play ino his hands

Priced around 4-1 with most looks mighty generous to me
