Very sad to read on Alan King’s website that Salden Licht has been put down having suffered a very serious ‘suspensory’ injury whilst running in a jumpers’ bumper at Kempton Park on 25 January.
They had hoped to save him, although he would not have raced again, but it was not to be.

RIP to him and all the others who have lost their lives to what I really believe are inbred weaknesses. Seems there are more these days than are lost to falling injuries. RIP to them too, of course.
