Yes, I’m afraid it’s true – he was put to sleep. Confirmed by the Nicholls yard.
April 18, 2007 at 19:49 #52782Think he was injured in the Midland’s National which forced his withdrawal from the sales. Presume it’s related to that.
April 18, 2007 at 20:09 #52784He pulled up in the Midlands National with a huge haematoma on his hindquarters. It did look at one stage as if he was going to be ok – don’t know what happened to change that. Very sad – I had a real soft spot for him. :(
April 19, 2007 at 09:59 #52786That’s terrible news. I was fond of him too. He was only 8 and still improving. :(
April 19, 2007 at 14:26 #52788That is real sad news. Whilst Ladalko was not the best jumper of a fence, he had class when he got them right.<br>It is a pity that my first post is to commiserate with connections of this lovely looking animal :(

That is sad, i had no idea that there was anything wrong with Ladalko.. which is why i am glad that there is a forum like this and the racehorsememories site, as without things like this so many would go by unmentioned.
commisorations to all involved with ladalko :(
April 21, 2007 at 15:23 #52795Had missed this.
