Yes, I’m afraid it’s true – he was put to sleep.  Confirmed by the Nicholls yard.

Think he was injured in the Midland’s National which forced his withdrawal from the sales. Presume it’s related to that.

He pulled up in the Midlands National with a huge haematoma on his hindquarters.  It did look at one stage as if he was going to be ok – don’t know what happened to change that.  Very sad – I had a real soft spot for him.  :(

That’s terrible news. I was fond of him too. He was only 8 and still improving. :(

That is real sad news.  Whilst Ladalko was not the best jumper of a fence, he had class when he got them right.<br>It is a pity that my first post is to commiserate with connections of this lovely looking animal :(

That is sad, i had no idea that there was anything wrong with Ladalko.. which is why i am glad that there is a forum like this and the racehorsememories site, as without things like this so many would go by unmentioned.
