The eagerly awaited return of RUK’s “Betting Lab” is currently being aired.

This week Tony Calvin passes on his expert and insightful thoughts on when one should place wagers with the “Non-Runner No-Bet” caveat. In a nutshell he advises that you should bascially do this when you think there is a chance your selection may not run in the race on which the bet is being struck.

    Thanks Tony.

Next week he will be teaching subscribers, oops sorry, I mean members, to tie up their own shoe laces, plus giving us his preferred order in which he loads the week’s washing into the washing machine in order to best maximise the limited space available.

Make sure you tune in, members!

All this for just £22 per month.

Tony hasn’t been on the RUK payroll for very long but is actually one of their better contributors.

Don’t see what’s wrong with it myself.
…And Tony Calvin came up with some decent bets I thought.

You make out what Calvin said was all obvious Ivanjica. It is – in a way. But if it were obvious to most punters – then the prices Calvin highlighted wouldn’t have been there in the first place for him to tip. They’d have already been taken and long gone.

I’ve said before Calvin is the sort of person ITV should be looking at regards a betting expert as he actually understands betting markets inside out and can explain them well, unlike the likes of the hopeless Stevenson & Nevison.

As for the subject of todays Betting Lab a complete waste of time because it is entirely dependent on “bookmakers” laying bets, something time and again they have showed they are not prepared to do, unless you lose.

I can just see all the happy little faces when they get a refund for backing a non runner

I don’t see what’s wrong with it either. I welcome programmes like this.

The worse part about it was the whirling graphics behind the prices. Very irritating and totally unnecessary.
