Voodoo Prince Haydock 7.40
My moles tell me this horse has a terrible set of fore legs. Obviously getting support in the market because for the fact that is is from one of the greatest Mares Ever.
Recommened
Lay to Lose 200 euro 2.72 Profit 110 euro
May 27, 2011 at 18:25 #357513Suhalili
Haydock 8.10
Another from that World Domination Maiden…actually i dont know is their any decent winners or not in it because i dont follow British Racing but i don’t like the sire…has done nothing ever. Very ordinary return and don’t know the trainer. Enough for me to lay.
Recommeneded
Lay to lose 288@2.52 for a profit 180
May 27, 2011 at 18:33 #357514I thought of laying Voodoo Prince this morning but it’s just such a bad race.
Couldn’t contemplate laying Suhaili. He’s the 2nd leg of a £100 double with Mezmaar for me, not to mention he’s Michael Jarvis’ horse to follow for the season. He just ran too fresh at Newbury, a race in which the 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 6th have won since – the 8th would’ve won too but for the 3rd. This longer trip will see him in better light and that first run will have done him the world of good. It’s also a Haydock maiden which won’t take an awful lot of winning.
May 27, 2011 at 18:37 #357515Yh i gotta take on Voodoo Prince…looks just a typical market manipulation. I agree with you regarding the Varian Horse….but then again i just not a fan of the trainer(don’t know him)/Jockey/Sire/Return etc so for me its a very straightforward lay. I haven’t looked in depth at the opposition but these horses are always overbacked.
As i type Voodoo Prince out to 3’s
May 27, 2011 at 18:45 #357518Had Voodoo Prince all beaten at the top of the straight. I take these on all day. Oh Well
May 27, 2011 at 18:46 #357519Roger Varian’s had a stunning start to the season. Not quite sure how you can lay for those sort of amounts without knowing that.
p.s. Dawn Gale could be a fly in the ointment for mine. Have backed at 19.0.
May 27, 2011 at 18:52 #357522Zarkava i here you. I know the trainer is good start but i not willing to base his performance on stats that are from a tiny sample that give a misleading view of his abilities to train racehorses.
I feel the horse should be around 5/2 for this race and am willing to lay according to my percentages. For instance why is their such a big price between himself and Meehan’s or Baldings Horse who is completely unexposed over this trip. You have that Hurricane Run as you said Completely unexposed over this trip and the Montjeu of Johnstons.
Bizarre Price
May 27, 2011 at 18:58 #357523From the sidelines .. Thank you both for a terrific exchange of informed opinions.
May 27, 2011 at 19:01 #357525Cheers OkJoe
Typical Gosden withdraws his horse
. No Wonder after it was drifting like it 2 legs.May 27, 2011 at 19:13 #357527Betless bravado, of course, but I think Tappanappa might skate this .. ground to suit .. wfa acceptable .. obviously a horse persevered with.
May 27, 2011 at 19:22 #357528End of thread?
May 27, 2011 at 19:24 #357529Top choice, Zarkava. I won’t give up the day job just yet.
May 27, 2011 at 19:26 #357530488 Loss on the night….
1 Horse Trades at 6
2nd Horse Trades at 22That is how it goes
…..Back tomoro for lower stakes obviously
May 28, 2011 at 07:32 #357578The 2nd horse wouldn’t have traded at that price had he been given a competent ride. Absolutely no idea what Buick was doing so far back for a son of Shirocco.
May 28, 2011 at 15:35 #357658Laying President Lincoln to win 50 quid.
May 28, 2011 at 15:42 #357663Also laying Creekside to lose 60 quid in the last race.
May 28, 2011 at 23:28 #357710bit of recovery today back to 378 loss.
Laying Zoffany already have to win 80 quid at 6/4
