The forum provides free competitions with sometimes sponsored prizes which take time to organise and other times provided out of Cormack’s pocket. My winnings from coming first in the Goodwood comp arrived today, worth waiting for. If I’m not looking truly pleased it’s because I’m getting a load of stick in the background about how I’ve deserted Hannon’s lot for Coolmore. Oh and my ears aren’t that big it’s the shadow against the wall. Keep up the good work Cormack and team.

Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.

Listen Steve, obviously this hat is one of the best hats I’ve ever worn. I’ve only ever worn 4 before but this one is certainly up in the top 3 or 4. I once wore a straw boater when walking through town but everyone was laughing at me so I retired it early by throwing it into the river tone, then there was that hat I wore at the cricket with the very wide brim to keep the sun at bay, that was a nice hat it had bags of potential and could of turned into a very smart 3 year old hat it was such a shame that I had drunk far too many ciders and had to use it as a sick bucket which ruined it and had to be thrown into the tone. I’m going to take my time with this new hat and will put it away in time for the summer months and the likely target is to get it ready for the family holiday in late August.

November 5, 2013 at 15:36 #457364TRF down again for me today
November 5, 2013 at 15:48 #457366I thought it was just me that couldn’t get on.
November 5, 2013 at 17:42 #457376The RUK replays – apparently there was a problem with the file transference and it should be rectified by tomorrow.
2 days. For that.
November 5, 2013 at 18:11 #457380I emailed RUK today to cancel my online sub because of the ‘deplorable service’. They emailed back asking what the issue was
November 5, 2013 at 20:41 #457389TRF down time frustrating today. Wanted to put tips up for the Haldon Gold Cup. That said, this is still a great forum and does not happen often.
Do think it must put off many new/novice TRFers who may go elsewhere; so whatever can be done should be done.
Value Is EverythingNovember 5, 2013 at 21:53 #457396Ok, we’re agreed that we’re sorting out changing server and streamlining some other stuff. Hope to have it done by Xmas but want to get it right so please be patient. I appreciate the loyalty shown to me and the site.
Nathan, I think that hat has enough speed for a July Cup.
November 5, 2013 at 22:15 #457399A bit of patience is all that is required the lads will sort out the bugs afterall it only took 6 years to fix up the forum speed of page loading……..

November 5, 2013 at 22:39 #457407Absolutely, I’m sure the lads will sit down and decide which server will best suit the site. All the best servers are definite possibilities.
November 6, 2013 at 09:59 #457424If I try to go to the home page I have great difficulties and it is very slow or non responsive. If I go straight to the forum it seems to be ok on the whole.
November 6, 2013 at 11:05 #457426Of all the sites I visit, not just horse racing ones, this is by far the worst in terms of speed/access problems, and has been for years.
November 6, 2013 at 11:37 #457430It is slow but, having said that it’s the only one that I don’t have to press the refresh key to get the latest posts. My problem is that, having a slightly obsessive disposition, the more I can’t get onto the site the more I keep trying to log on.
November 6, 2013 at 11:47 #457432Site speed is still mega quick for me.
