Citzen Vic to run for Mullins now
Does this Grade 1 winner have any chance?….certain to stay as well as anything?.
Could Willie plot a winner…surely 33/1 to big on betfair
March 12, 2010 at 15:40 #281936I don’t think he’ll beat Weapons Amnesty again and I don’t think the Byrnes horse will finish in the same county as Long Run.
Willie’s tilting at windmills with this one and I don’t think he has a prayer.
March 12, 2010 at 15:48 #281938Not sure Imperial i think he is the best of ours…Weapons is too slow a jumper imo. Think he could be a dark one….
March 12, 2010 at 15:52 #281941Our stayers are complete crap this year though. Pandorama would be the best of them and even if he was fit I doubt Noel would run him given the likely going now.
Looks a Henderson benefit. If Long Run jumps, he wins.
March 12, 2010 at 15:56 #281944Well….yes they don’t look very good i give you that but we have seen different ground yields completly different results….
Don’t believe he can win but would be interesting if he can place
March 12, 2010 at 15:58 #281946Noel Meade again fails to get a horse to the festival. It really is a curse tbh. How does it keep happening to him

I’m a big LONG RUN fan but if he makes the same mistakes as he has in his previous 2 runs then I can’t see it winning I’m afraid……..

hope your stayers aren’t totally crap as i’ve backed weapons amnesty,if pandorama wa your best hope, this fellow wouldn’t be far behind him.i don’t think he’s shown his best yet over fences(i’m gutted mikael didn’t make it)
March 13, 2010 at 12:56 #282078Weird Al out of the race next week.
Very disappointing for those on here who have backed him, and of course, connections.
March 13, 2010 at 13:06 #282080How terribly sad for horse and connections, they must be devasteted. Hope he mends 100% and we see AL back next year in The Gold Cup
It saddens me he won’t be running although IMO it makes the winner a lot easier to predict…DIAMOND HARRY will carry my cash
March 13, 2010 at 13:07 #282081Huge blow is that, was a potential superb e/w bet against the top three in the market and one I was gonna go in for.
Another reason I’m glad I don’t go too daft with ante-post, unlucky on anyone who’s lost out and for connections obviously.
Harry it is then….
March 13, 2010 at 13:07 #282083Weird Al Thank goodness for NRNB.
March 13, 2010 at 13:20 #282085Just seen this – what a blow, he’s been so hard to keep in training.
Sounds like they expect no problems with him returning next season so fingers crossed.
March 13, 2010 at 14:40 #282097Really disappointed for connections and for me as had backed him ante-post at 33/1 and 25/1. That’s the last time I back ante-post – although I seem to remember having made that resolution before!

Commiserations but don’t give up – the next 33/1 shot might win. Try and take it as a plus that you had actually found a 33/1 shot who was as short as 6/1.
March 13, 2010 at 16:09 #282110Gutted for connections but I think he was running for third anyway. This race will be a Henderson 1-2 with Long Run the victor.
March 13, 2010 at 18:03 #282125Gutted, was really loooking forward to him. Was on at 33s also and wanted to see him put in a good run for the williams yard. Backed knockara Beau aswell who had some decent form with weird al earlier in the season and all my hopes rest on him now…
Weird Al may remain well handicapped for the hennessy though…
