Baycat, cant believe the price on him. I do like south central though. But Baycat loooks a rock solid e/w shot as he’s always loooked tough as old boots and game as you like, nobodys got past him yet so 14-1 would look a bit of a steal.

I also think Slugger O’toole has a lot in his favour other than his bad draw, and his running style should be suited to the straight track and may be able to get into the britania at a big old price.

Would the subsequent efforts of Grand Honour and Firth Of Fiftn not worry you with regard to Baycat, Bulwark? Obviously Sun Ship has come out and won since, as has Light The Fire, but with the latter likely to have improved significantly (as Meehan’s always do) for the race is the form strong enough?

All my bets today revolve around South Central and Collection (where Segal plucked 10/1 about this horse from I’ll never know – he was no better than 15/2 anywhere shortly after midnight last night), with Michita a hopeful choice to boost any returns. If those three win, my next post will be from the Caribbean!

Any horses beaten since doesnt bother me too much, neither does the ground really as think he should handle it. Most 2yos dont really hold their form terribly well in the early part of the season but he and Art Connoiseur were the two earliest to show that they were pretty tough sorts. Many have come in for plenty of speculation since but I was hoping they would keep Baycat at 5f for the Norfolk as he still looked to have plenty of improvement in hand last time, theyved kept him at 5f and so I’ll keep the faith as he hasnt let me down yet.

    Good win from Michita there.

Cape Amber didn’t do herself any favours going down to post looking more than a handful for Alan Munro.

Didn’t settle at all during the race either.

    That was very exciting,…

Wonder if we shall see her against the colts anytime soon?

Great horse race. Most excited I’ve been watching a flat race for a long time.

    Well done Yeats.

    Brilliant from Yeats.

The flat season has really captured my attention this season so far.

    Really great performance from Yeats.

Go on Yeats! I listened on Ladbrokes radio, was really exciting on there! I heard there were 3 in a line near the end, 1 second Yeats, then Geordieland, then he pulled clear, looking forward to seeing that later! :D

Extremely silly comment. The way Aidan does it year in, year out always has his horses ready and every detail tactically is never left uncovered.

Just a run of the mill trainer.

He may have the ammunition but boy does he get the best out of them.
