You deserved it with that score on the last day
Well done to Venjee for top scoring on Day Five with 72 pts
And a mention to Broadsword for scoring 63 pts on the last day tooUnlucky Bob Rolf Run For Oscar getting a place was just enough to beat you but well done anyway
So the podium is
FIRST LANDAFAR
SECOND BOB ROLF
THIRD RAYMO61Well done everybody
If anyone has a query re scoring let me know and I will investigate.Thank you all for taking part and we hope you enjoyed it (We did)
And thanks to the boss for doing the technical stuffJune 24, 2023 at 19:10 #1653463Thank you very much Mr and Mrs Raymo for organising this wonderful competition.
Thoroughly enjoyed taking part, beginner’s luck. Well played eveyone, some interesting selections through the week.
I feel for Bob Rolf, Dawn Rising, getting clipped into to 2/1 from 9/4 cost 6pts in the last race. Honestly I didnt lump on..
Looking forward to the next one.
June 24, 2023 at 19:27 #1653466Well done Landafar
Great finish with BobThank you the raymos
Along with BigG and all the other helpers you guys keep these festival comps running better than everBlackbeard to conquer the World
June 24, 2023 at 19:59 #1653473Superb total LANDAFAR, you recovered from a bad 3rd day the best way possible,
by having a cracker of a 4th day. A solid last day was enough to keep you in
front. Great to have new blood in the competitions, very well done mateA great run as we’ve come to expect from Bob Rolf. Just a whisker away Bob right
up to the last race. Well doneRaymo a great run from you in 3rd place, I tried to catch you but after a good start,
I fell away. Well done and thanks so much to you and Mrs Raymo for running the
competition in your usual professional manner. It’s been a blast. Thanks so muchJune 24, 2023 at 20:11 #1653475Well done Lanadafar and thanks the Raymos
Cake all roundJune 24, 2023 at 20:40 #1653478Blimey, some cracking scores on the leader board for what was a very tricksy few days, congrats to Landafar, Bob Rolf and Raymo and thanks to Mr and Mrs Raymo for their excellent running of the competition
Most enjoyable, despite my usual dismal performance
At least I was up on the week betting wise thanks to the Spencer masterclass on Khaadem today, having spotted the tempting odds of 100-1 on bet365 this morning
June 24, 2023 at 22:50 #1653489Well done Landafar for winning the most difficult ever Royal Ascot recorded on our TRF competition site a well deserved win.
I’m not just saying that this week was difficult because my score was so abysmal but because some of the best competition players on TRF have struggled to raise points especially on this crucial last day…I say “give Champions Day back to Newmarket where it belongs” Ascot is too biased with regard to the draw and this week has beaten champions such as Little Big Bear, Highfield Princess, Free Wind it goes on. Rant over..and breath.
Well done also to Bob and Raymo for their well earned place on the Podium but Raymo you really missed out on being the outright winner of this if you think back to the advice you gave to Tonge and myself when we were going on about Spencers bad rides…you said he had the best record on the straight track at Ascot and he was ‘mustard’. Khadeem 80/1 when I saw him win on the screens at Newmarket I honestly hoped you had Napped him, I certainly wish I had taken you solid advice Raymo. Well done to llavim for his after compy win on Khadeem and a nice top up to the depleting coffers. Sickening to see happy bookies at Newmarket today, they could hardly push their suitcases along on the way out of the track tonight with so many punters piling on Frankie Dettori’s mounts.
Thought Nathan had some bad luck with his Sacred but well done with Pyledriver and for being up there in the top 10 on the leaderboard. It’s been a great week and look forward to doing it all again soon but at a different meeting.
JacLastly Big thanks to Mr and Mrs Raymo for running this competition which we have all enjoyed playing and enjoy your cakes Raymo and commisserations to Mrs Raymo this time but she will return to reclaim her cakes.
Well done Venjee for a great score today, hope you backed them all. Jac
