March 15, 2026 at 15:07 #1760097Following on from Prince Rupert in the bumper yesterday, that’s two promising four year olds in as many days for Henderson. He might have to put any plans to retire on ice, especially as he has high hopes for another 4yo, Feel Gut, too.
On the subject of Feel Gut, I hope I don’t have to start another of my one-man crusades with SSR and RTV about getting the pronunciation right: it isn’t “gut”, as in belly, but the German word for “good”, so it should be pronounced that way.

March 15, 2026 at 22:20 #1760180He was very impressive and will remain a novice next season, if I’m right.
March 16, 2026 at 07:12 #1760194Closely related to the owners Mighty Man and if he’s anywhere near as good as him he’s going to be very decent.
INHO Mighty Man would have won a Gold Cup had his career not been blighted after his severe injury at Punchestown. They should never have run him there that season.
