Close your eyes while you listen to him and he sounds just like the motivational speaker Mark Jenkins from reality TV series “The Cavendish” – the failing Torquay hotel.
He He
October 22, 2016 at 12:54 #1268206He was on that Celebrity Island Bear Grylls thing the other week!!
October 22, 2016 at 15:40 #1268221Are his Y-fronts too tight? His voice is getting higher every time I hear him.
October 22, 2016 at 17:50 #1268237just another waste of space. not a clue
October 22, 2016 at 21:58 #1268269The Cavendish is still going (I stay in a b@b opposit, once or twice a year) but I think Mark bankrupt the previous owner when his bright ideas went t!ts up. I think Mark would make a better go at it, the presenting that is not hotel saving than Rishi personally. His enthusiasm and passion cant be faulted, a lovable idiot is Jenkins…

October 22, 2016 at 22:35 #1268278Can’t see anything wrong with Rishi, or most other presenters tbh. People seem to be sat there, viewing programmes looking for things to moan about that doesn’t matter one little bit. I’ve always found Rishi fairly entertaining. For sure I’m a racing fanatic and rather see wall to wall horses and form experts, but it would be boring for a lot of viewers.
Value Is EverythingOctober 23, 2016 at 11:01 #1268324I think the Test Match bowls he was doing last week on ITV is much more his metier rather than horse racing.
October 23, 2016 at 11:15 #1268327He’s ok, and won’t put off the first-time or occasional viewer. You wouldn’t want them all to be like him, but he provides a counterpoint to the nerdyness of specialist broadcasters, whatever the sport.
Most specialist racing presenters on tv or radio probably come across to non-racing enthusiasts (ie potential fans) as being rather weird, and not in an intriguing way.
October 23, 2016 at 16:32 #1268363Why most on here seem so in favour of this racing for change beats me. Why are they pandering to the occasional viewer and non racing enthusiast, because they are just that. Persad can spout only his pat phrases that he has learnt, has an annoying girlish voice and is now starting to sound patronising with it, as he often even fronts the show. If Henry Cecil really disliked him and he more or less told him where to go,then that`s good enough for me.
