Just been reading on the RP that Ronan Lawlor died in a gallop accident this morning when his horse bolted and he got thrown into post and rail fencing.
An awful story, condolences to his family and friends.
RIP Ronan.
21 yrs old! What a tragic accident and a waste of a skill that is rarely appreciated!
A few friends of mine knew him. Very sad loss to the Leighlinbridge community.

Extremely sad.
It just brings home how dangerous the sport is and brings into persepective the very real risks jockeys and work riders take day in day out.
Condolences to all who knew him.
