I actually owe Johnson an apology.
I watched the race in bookies and I guess I did see events slightly different than they occured.
What I saw was a lack of strength on Johnson’s part where what really happened is the horse didnt get home as rightly pointed out by people on here.
Sorry but the bookies was packed with Punchestown on and Towcester was on a small screen.
I apologise RJ. My bad……
However just because I dont back horses it doesnt mean I cannot complain where I feel a jockey rides particuarly poor, in this case I was wrong..

All irrelevant, the award has justy gone to Danny Cook.
So thats the second time in one season for him???
Perhaps backs up my thoughts that it doesnt take much to be a jockey…
