Was going to sit this out, but took a chance on Jingko Blue. Had an idea of him being a Pertemps horse, but I’ll take a chance that he’s good enough for this level.
Jingko Blue 17-2
January 1, 2026 at 08:26 #1749218Kabral du Mattan should win this, but at 8/1 I got to give last year’ winner Lucky Place a chance.
Lucky Place 8/1

The more I know the less I understand.

January 1, 2026 at 14:51 #1749296That Kabral Du Mathan wouldn’t look out of lace in a Champion Hurdle
January 1, 2026 at 15:00 #1749297Nicholls must be scratching his head on what he’s doing wrong.
That’s a couple of horses now that left his yard in the summer and look like aeroplanes for their new trainers.
January 1, 2026 at 17:34 #1749316GM23 – Not sure he was doing anything wrong but as they say a change is as good as a rest. RP also said he had wind surgery in June of this year before going to Skelton in September so possible that he would have done the same for Nicholls if the horse had stayed with him.
The Aintree Hurdle (and a potential clash with El Fabiolo) looks the route to go with him as he looks a bit too free going to see the trip out in a Stayers Hurdle at the moment, which as we know can be an attritional affair and drag the stamina out of those classy 2½m types stepping up in trip.
