Nothing more to say – the most brutal racecourse in the country. Those broken shoulders with the swinging leg are a disgrace for the entire sport. I know that Bechers Brook is dangerous, but that is a unique jump on a unique course. This hurdle is a regular death trap, really disgusting to watch and incredible that no one really complains about it.
RIP to him.
So very upset about this, I can’t watch jumping at Southwell. I knew Robbie was running today and looked to see how he’d done as soon as I got in. Devastated to see the result. Only 7 years old and has done best of the Fierro horses since the very game Just Beth. Bred, owned and trained by them and they don’t have many horses. Can’t begin to imagine how they must feel.
