Here’s some of my outsiders I’ve done as main bets today:
I can certainly see 12/1 Generous Ransom running well Raymo, Gifford is at last showing signs of returning to form. My other main bet in that race is also 12/1, the french horse Pythagore could be under-estimated.
Also agree with you on So Fine @ 14/1. Ran well over hurdles last time and unexposed as a chaser. Have done one of the favourites in that race – Pete The Feat – but also like Aachen; disappointed last time out, but that was after a particularly hard race the time before (that Soll won). Hope latter pair don’t take each other on.
I’ve done Flementime as a main bet @ 12/1 in the first. Not many prominent racers in that race, could pay to be fairly handy and she usually tracks pace. Ran as if something was hurting last time and although ran reasonably penultimate start – cheek pieces could bring about a better performance. Although do think the favourite Rock Gone is a good bet too.
Value Is EverythingGenerous Ransom ran shocking GT !! Very disappointing!!
The French horse ran well then ran out of steam!
Rock Gone would have won IMO Bad Luck with that one GT.I only bet in one race yesterday Raymo, betting Generous Ransom, along with one other. He was, as you say, very disappointing, and no real excuses either by the look of things.
I said at the start of the season, that he interested me for The Topham, and yesterdays run will surely see him come down a couple more pounds, so I’m still going to keep an eye on him for that.
the problem with Generous Ransom yestie for me was he never seemed to be travelling and they were always going half a stride too quick for him.
He is one to be wary of at the minute I think.Just a few for Friday
