Whoever tested the new look Racing Post website before making it go Live has a lot to answer for. Its awful. Pages take an age to load and the search facility isn’t currently working. There wasn’t anything wrong with the existing site, dunno why they changed it.
February 1, 2023 at 18:40 #1633258Fully agree. The Updated News column on the right-hand side (which was very informative) has disappeared.
February 1, 2023 at 19:11 #1633261It really is truly awful

February 1, 2023 at 19:28 #1633265Fully agree with you, Mike. It’s crap.
“dunno why they changed it.”
People have to justify their continued employment.February 1, 2023 at 19:38 #1633266Sounds like the best relaunch since New Coke in 1985.
February 1, 2023 at 19:53 #1633268I’ll be fine with it once they get search working. Using a keyword under each article has made it miles easier to search the archive – that alone makes it worthwhile for me.
February 2, 2023 at 02:08 #1633285No excuses for releasing an update version of the site with something as major as the search function not working.
February 2, 2023 at 14:10 #1633310Search function is now working, at least.
February 6, 2023 at 10:02 #1634218Search function on notebook still not working for me but fine on an iphone
February 6, 2023 at 12:20 #1634222Ah thanks, Tim – that gave me a hint, and I tried Chrome. It works (not working using Firefox).
February 6, 2023 at 18:37 #1634257It wasn’t working for me on Firefox either, until I disabled Adblocker for the Post website.
February 6, 2023 at 18:58 #1634261Not working for me on Firefox on a iMac even after disabling the AD Blocker and VPN – still totally idiotic to release an ‘update’ with a major part of the functionality not working across all platforms…..wonder if they actually sent it to be beta tested before release.
