If you need someone to pick favourite after favourite, and almost guarantee no winners, then Zoey Bird is the gal for you (and she might be more attractive than Jim McGrath, but look what she married).

I dont need a pundit to pick my winners, I am my own man. I would rather have some tasty eye candy cos Im not listening to what any of them say either way.

Zoey Bird, nah……don’t see it myself.

Everything is in relevance. When you look at Zoe and then look at Jim McGrath then I come to the conclusuion that Zoe is tasty eye candy.
February 6, 2008 at 10:14 #140558Is Zoe Bird attractive?! I wouldn’t have said so but i’m not a man so… haha. Who did she marry?
February 6, 2008 at 10:30 #140562I think all the female racing presenters are attractive in their own way (how diplomatic am I ?
) but Lydia Hislop, for me, is more attractive than all.Gambling Only Pays When You're Winning
February 6, 2008 at 10:31 #140563She was married to Richard Hannon Jnr. for about 10 minutes.
I would describe her as a horse-racing "groupie".

Get in there my son! hahaFebruary 6, 2008 at 10:57 #140579Kauto I reckon your the most attractive on here and I wouldn’t mind betting your little boy would probably talk more sense than the majority of the racing pundits we have in this country.
February 6, 2008 at 11:02 #140583Is that your bint Kauto?
At least the kid isnt an ugly one. One bloke on train this morning had a big screensaver of his three kids on his laptop …
Vile. Three gargoyles…
February 6, 2008 at 11:08 #140588Maybe this thread should be binned?
A little bit embarrasing…not that my post helped i suppose

April 26, 2008 at 08:15 #159952More dross from the "great man" this morning putting up Knowhere to win the Whitbread- if he wins going right-handed I’ll pack in the game.

The Racing Post don’t seem to cover these stories very well! I assume you are saying she is divorced – how long were they actually married? Would you describe her as more of a horse racing groupie than Plunkett and Hammond?
April 26, 2008 at 20:45 #160111Hi carvillshill
Have you noticed that further to our discussion on left/right handed preferences, such info appears in Signposts in the RP regarding horses who have shown RPR’s 10lb+ one way compared to the other.
BTW – Sorry about not catching up with you at Punchestown, I forgot to add your number to my phone and I was without internet access all week.
April 27, 2008 at 07:10 #160142Stilvi, I am not sure that they are divorced but I feel I can be sure in saying that the marriage is over.
How long were they married?…………..again, I can’t be certain but less than a year, possibly less than six months.
I’m not sure it is fair to compare Zoey with Alice and Alex. Alice and Alex may well be racing junkies but can they be truly described as pundits?
I know Zoey at one time had her own tipping line and a coulmn in one of the ‘red-tops’, I’m fairly sure that Alice Focke-Spitt has never aspired to those levels, and except for tipping up odds-on shots on Sky Sports?? in the morning, I’m not aware of Alex Quinn having any outlets.
I hope that goes some way to answering the questions you posed above.

April 27, 2008 at 08:54 #160149‘Bird Talk’ is/was the name of Zoe’s tipping line, which soon became known as ‘Bird Shite’ around my way!
