..this is true. I’ve noticed some odd looking fellows wearing green and white shirts kicking some ball around a muddy field. What’s that all about..lol!.. here’s a proper greeny –
Range-urz!!!…….va va voom..
July 26, 2007 at 18:27 #109311I see ATR and Racing UK are both showing York today, bad start for the head to head of the two when ATR lost commentary and David Duggan didnt know what to really say. As it was atransferred Doncaster card dont think they will be anymore head to heads. If you watched which did you think gave better coverage to the meeting?
July 26, 2007 at 19:16 #109315I fail to see why anyone who has access to both would watch ATr over Ruk and put up with their adverts every 10 minutes, besides I prefer Naughton/Cunningham to the Atr triumvirate of Duggan/Doyle/Weaver any day, unless Matt Chapman showed up of course – a man worth every penny of his fee in my view and the mainstay of ATR.
Atr not doing too well so far with York so no contest at the mo.
July 26, 2007 at 21:04 #109320Have to say David Duggan isnt the best person to have presenting when they have so many meetings to show perhaps he should be booked when they just got American Racing. Im surprised they were so low key about showing York looked like they really didnt care and why bother when they had two other meetings just made it more hurried and unprofessional.
July 26, 2007 at 22:27 #109331you don’t watch one channel over the other, you watch whichever one has the racing on
if RUK has the racing you watch RUK, if RUK and ATR both have live racing you flick between the channels and if it’s all on ATR you don’t watch RUK as it’s just re-runs
i can understand preferences over the styles and quality of the presenting but the racing determines which channel one watches, doesn’t it ?

Sure UM, Naughton/Cunningham really covered themselves in glory when they spotted the pace bias after 2 races and declared that it was hopeless unless horses were up with the pace.
Ffs, I understand more about quantum physics than these two will ever know about horse racing! -
