Could someone give me some advice please. I’m with NTL/Virgin Media & have just changed my TV package to allow me to see Racing UK & some Setanta football when I’m at home. I have specifically asked for Racing UK.
To do this, VM have upgraded me to their XL TV package, which includes Setanta Sports, which in turn includes Racing UK. Does this make me a member of the Racing UK Club, & if so, do I have to anything to activate my membership?
I think I know the answer to the next question, but I’ll ask just in case. I can’t seem to find Racing World, I have a feeling this is because I’m on cable, but should I be able to get it?
Thanks in advance

December 23, 2007 at 12:03 #131647the XL package from virgin media (ex-ntl) includes ATR and RUK plus the Setanta pack which gets you live football, boxing, etc – it’s a damn good deal imo and i am now paying just 40/mth in 1 payment for broadband, phone (with free weekend calls) + a good cable tv package – when it was ntl it was a lot more as one paid for RUK seperately and the rest cost more too
yes it does get you membership of the RUK club and i just got my envelope through with the new plastic membership card and tickets for the next quarter but i did have to email RUK when i first got it (when it was just RUK and ntl) and RUK told me this was because virgin/ntl don’t pass details to them of people who subscribe to whatever telly deal includes the RUK pack – crap i know, but an email to RUK worked for me and they put me straight on the club membership and mailing list so you need to email them :

with virgin/ntl it doesn’t include Racing World unfortunately, that’s just a sky thing, but it’s not a massive loss imo
merry xmas
