Hi everyone,
Its been a while since I posted on here but I’ve finally got a few spare hours and thought I would revisit some of my old posts. Thanks to all those that have helped me in the past.
Sorry to hear about the debacle at raceexpert, hope that one works itself out as it did see like a decent format for picking winners. Is anyone still using it as they are still promoting the site and looking for new subscribers
Due to the lack of racing over the past few weeks I have been using patternform to pick my runners. Following a PF members process has pretty successful nothing spectacular but enough to keep me happy.
Now that the normal racing has resumed I’d be interested to hear if anyone has used patternform and whether they think it can be used for the jumps?
January 20, 2010 at 01:06 #270971The toerags sent me an email-to get in touch with my credit card Co, being as it was a debit card Im not sure your covered the same.
Defo ceased to tradeJanuary 20, 2010 at 10:23 #271012Biotechy
I’ve always understood a credit card carries more protection than a debit card when used for web transactions.
I see that Racexpert use Worldpay to deal with the financial side of things. You could try contacting them.
I have heard of a few people who have bought duff systems and paid via Clickbank and have been unable to get a refund from the seller. They have contacted Clickbank and received a refund from them.

The latest in this saga is that speed ratings will be available to be downloaded from their website from 22nd january.
Will wait & seeFebruary 8, 2010 at 12:36 #274863Service now supposed to be up & running from March 1St now
March 29, 2010 at 14:59 #286291Up & running again though not the full service.
Subscribers get free access to the new part service-speed & neural ratings & they appear to be very good.
I dont know what they are going to do with the 450 subscribers left but Im sure free access for a time limited spell will be forthcoming.
The AW cards are generating good priced winnersMarch 30, 2010 at 09:53 #286426Speaking of duff software providers, stay away from
IE- Software
, programmers of Bet Manager. The software kept submitting rogue bets into the exchange (expensive!), they dont answer emails and a month after submitting the software log files that they requested from me, they still hadnt replied even once.
A dodgy product, zero technical support and non existent customer service. Avoid.
August 25, 2011 at 21:30 #369194Hi all, me and my Dad bought pro punter 20 years ago for the amiga 500 for £25 and used it about 5 times winning over £200. But it took over an hour to do each race and we got sick of having to input all the info so we stopped using the program. I found the program in my loft the other week and thought I would use it again so I bought an amiga 500 off ebay for £16, worked out 4 races, had 3 winners and a second and am now £260 better off. I’ve got the betting bug back again and will continue to use this program.
Is any one out there still using this program? cheers. August 27, 2011 at 13:49 #369356I had Pro-Punter back in the late eighties, used it religiously for two or three years on a Saturday and any big race meeting. Can’t say I made anything out of it. Found it a bit crap especially the so called investment advices. To this day I don’t know how I stuck with it for so long, must have wanted something to do.
September 13, 2011 at 20:43 #3708813 x Lucky 15 bets using pro punter version 2 on the amiga 500 and am £350 in profit to £1 stakes just using the top rated horse (2 out of 4, 3 out of 4 and 3 out of 4). It takes about 1 hour to do each race that’s why I’m sticking to 8 runners or less and with all the info online it is easier than using the papers as we had to 20 years ago when I first bought the program. Hopefully will get all 4 right soon. Shame the info download is not available. It would save a lot of time.
September 14, 2011 at 00:18 #370905Well done.
I've stumbled on the side of twelve misty mountains
I've walked and I crawled on six crooked highwaysFebruary 5, 2021 at 14:30 #1521410Just browsing and wondering whether there were any Timeform Perspective clones available these days. Unsuccessfully, I’m afraid.
Thought then about Computer Timeform and it seems that that has disappeared as well.
I see that Raceform Interactive is still around. Does anyone on here use it now? Is it worth the money?
Any reply would be most welcome. Ta!
