‘The Fountain’ on the Lower Clapton Road,Hackney E5 aka ‘murder mile’.

The racing takes pride of place in this most intimate of watering holes as the locals (yardies) will not have it any other way quite frankly.There is a Ladbrokes directly next door where you can,if inclined,score crack or indeed place a wager .However,if you find its one of your luckier days and actually get to watch one romp home over a pint,kindly refrain from cheering,smiling,or mutter anything that ends with ‘my son’ as this is deemed as disrespectful and sure to end with a ‘pop’ in the ‘back room’.
