they absolutly ruin it for me at times and whilst i find them equally as bad carson just shades it for the worst i know exactly what i would like to do with his stick

Carson has to be the worst of the terrestrial monkeys though.
It’s a bit restrictive only being allowed one vote on that list isn’t it?<br>In the end I had to go for Scu as he is so patently incompetent. He can barely construct a sentence and gives the impression that he actually knows very little about racing – impressive for someone who was champion jockey umpteen times.
Disagree about Graham Goode – I like his commentaries.
Agree about Peter Scu. I like the guy, but he is out of his depth on the BBC and should be given a quiet exit. It’s not as if he doesn’t have plenty of other jobs to do too.
Claire Balding saves the BBC, I think it would be almost unwatchable otherwise.
I think Peter Scu wins for me then. But I can’t wait for another hillariously incompetent Grand National commentary from Mr Hanmer next week.

I’d give a thumbs up to Francs, cos @least he provides entertainment and has a personality, and I totally agree with Rich-Claire Balding is the saviour of the BBC, shes brill.<br>
Alex "obviously" Hammond on the Racing Channel has to be watched with the sound turned down – the drivel that she comes out with is absolutely unbearable. Miriam Francome, John Hunt and Dougie "here this afternoon" Fraser are almost as bad. <br>The best racing presenter by far has to be Bob Cooper – pure class.
I can kind of see why people don’t take to Derek Thompson, but I’m always amazed just how much he seems to be hated.
Is he really, genuinely, hated by his colleagues? You can certainly see his fellow presenters squirming with embarassment with him sometimes. Does anyone here know what he actually really is like in real life?
I sort of like him though. He’s professional on screen and I don’t think he’s as insincere as he comes across. I would certainly rather watch him than Willie Carson or Peter Scudamore. I’m also beginning to hate McCririck’s pseudo rants.
He has been inflicted on C4 on the commentary side. He did a Lingfield a while back.
Must agree with the majority. Thommo is irritating.<br>I used to be able to just about put up with him, but lately he appears to be using his " here they come, who’s going to get there" motif too much.<br>His nickname should be thrush, as he such an irritating C*!#?  :biggrin:
"rubber lips" thompson, scudamore and carson all dreadul. and of course there’s "the female with the email"

I can’t stand the BBC team!!!!! They’re only on there cos of who they and not due to how good they are. They just don’t provide any where near the amount of detail or analysis as the Ch 4 or racing channel crew.
Outer Mongolia’s main racing day is July 14. We’ve got time to get Tommo shipped off there!

Thommo…….see majority on this<br>And I have to say that the Beeb commentary team and presenters are the worst I have heard.If they dont get the names of the horses wrong,its usually W.Carson talking about a horses form and getting it totally wrong !!!!!!<br>If C.Balding was’nt their the Beeb may as well just sack it.
