    My view would be if much of the site is to be subs only then as a first step they should forsake the income generated by the gaudy advertising and get rid of it, which would speed-up loading no end.

    Agree with that. The fruit machine stuff should not be displayed on the subscription site when it eventually comes to pass.

    Not at all,it may well be ok now but I haven’t tried reinstalling it at this stage.
    As the others say firefox and google chrome are reasonable alternatives.
