    Hello everybody !

First of all excuse me for my english…

    I have a (probably stupid ) question .
I don’ understand why the RPR for a specific horse in the race card ( before the race) has (for the same horse) a different value respect to the RPR that appears in the result card ( after the race).

What’s the sense of this second and different RPR ?

    Thanks for your answers !

    Fly.

The RPR that appears on the race card indicates how the horse is expected to run today, adjusted for today’s weight.

The RPR that appears in the result is updated to take into account how the horse ran in that race and is then adjusted to a standard weight of 10 stone for Flat racing or 12 stone for National Hunt racing.

When the horse next runs the RPR is then adjusted to the weight that will be carried in that race.

    (And it wasn’t a stupid question :D )
