Racing post grey series

I enjoyed the articles on the grey horses in this weeks racing post but was surprisedto see monets garden and Neptune colllanges didn’t make the final 7.
Guess they felt they had to have some flat horses in there even though the flat is the minority interest of the two codes these days

I am a little disappointed with this series. It is great to celebrate champions, but you have to be balanced and honest when looking at their careers.

Venerating Rooster Booster as one of the most

generous

and

game

horses of recent years is laughable. He had great talent and produced a stunning Champion Hurdle win, but braveness was definitely not one of his qualities.
